Too bad. I like the looks of it. Almost as good as my 79 Broncos.

You were blinded by science! :B

I don't believe there will be a market case for a 2 door utility truck since everyone prefers 4 doors now. My parents owned a '75 2wd Blazer for about a year. My would urge my dad to floor it every once in a while. I thought it sounded like Starsky and Hutches car! :B

I have to say those 80's Ramcharger's were some real boat anchors! :W

I still have my 1988 Ramcharger and it is still beautiful. Towed a 25' Jayco 2450 for many miles with my wife and 2 young daughters. Traded the trailer, but kept the truck.

I would love to buy one if it actually was a production model. It looks great. Unfortunately, in order for it to enter production, the marketing people would require it to have 4 doors, and we don't need another full size 4 door SUV - plenty of those around already.

I'm almost glad it's not real. Our family vacations in the late 70's and early 80's were in a Palomino popup towed behind a Plymouth Trailduster, the clone of the Ramcharger.

I'd have had to trade my truck in on one of these, despite the reduction in towing capability, purely for nostalgic reasons. This would be the ONE vehicle that could make me do something irrational.
I owned a Plymouth Trailduster as well, it had a removable hard top and was very noisy and fun.

Last sentence of the second to last paragraph.

It is a bit early to be bringing out the 2017's to a rock climbing contest. It would make a great concept truck though.
