Love what I have.....Just broken in 58K miles! Used mostly for towing, taking a load to the dumps once or twice and yes an occasional tree stump removal. Like mentioned I get passed by many pulling the hills....this Arctic Fox is a heavy beast. Think I'll stay away from the showrooms and behave. No harm in dreaming about that beautiful 2017 Super Duty though.... 7.3's roll on.

I think having paid $60k for a $74k truck was a fair deal, I did a search within 300 miles from my house of all 3 brands. the ram I looked at was 72 and they would only initially take 5k off, I left. at the time of my purchase there wasn't even a Denali dually in New England or NY to be found and I wasn't ordering a truck.
I thought you got a DRW Platinum? I would have thought a Platinum DRW truck would not have stickered for less than 76K or so. My SRW Ram stickered for 78K.
The loaded Ford SRW trucks have been just a little more expensive than the loaded dually. I'm not certain if this is still the case for 2017 but it makes sense that it would be.
Maybe in Canada but down here in New England long bed dually was $1600 more than a shortbed SRW base price.
BTW my "6 skinny 17" tires are mounted on alum rims and were ordered with the upgraded off road "not as skinny" tires.
The previous model Fords were priced such that a loaded short box was a couple hundred dollars more than a loaded dually. In 2017 the basic Ford Platinum with ultimate package dually has a msrp of $1680 more than a similarly equipped SRW in the USA and in Canada the Platinum trim dually is now $1850 more than a SRW short box. (MSRP of 88599 vs 86749) I have no idea why the change.

I didn't get a diesel, but I pulled the trigger on a new F250 on Saturday. My mouth is no longer watering (maybe drooling a little) but I finally got what I wanted for MY birthday.:B I've been waiting a long time for this truck. Can't wait to yank my wagon down the road and up the mountain with it. Ford has the best HD trucks, hands down. My 2 cents worth.

Yes there is a lot there for a measly $1,200! Actual price is $1,020, even better.
Wasn't there just a thread about how much cheaper the Ram was than Ford? Looks like MSRP is pretty comparable among the big three.
