My favorite RV accessory is this little gem. I use it more than my big power cord.

One of the first items I bought for my new TT was the screw in 30amp to 15 amp shorty 12" dongle/dog bone via eBay. I use it with one of the many 12AWG HD cables I have from sound work. That way I only have out the costly 30AMP 10AWAG cable when I can use the 30AMP connector, even though I have a 30-15 dogdone for that.

Very cool little storage rack.

I learned a long time ago that having everything for every type of power situation is a good thing.

I have a 12awg cord in 50' length. I've used it a few times for lower power requirements. I'd like to replace it with a 10awg 80 footer.

I also have the 50-30 and 15-30, plus a 100 foot heavy duty extension which all I have used but one time each in 4 years. And when I say 100 foot heavy duty, I mean heavy. Used it one time at my brother's house because I wasn't able to park closer. But in case I ever need it again, I have it on hand.

I carry the 50 to 30 and the 30 to 15 DOGBONE adapters in my tool box...

Use them all the time.

Alot of times when we are the camp ground the 30A Pedestal really looks ragged where you plug in. We just pull out the 50-30 dogbone cord and use that. Most folks use the 30A side I reckon.

At home I plug into my 120VAC Garage receptacle alot or my 2KW Generator doing something...

Good things to have in your tool box for sure...

I got mine from WALMART in the RV camping section.

Actually, we are at the in-laws farm right now, plugged into the barn with one of these... and yes, the receptacle in the barn is 30 amp, it just has the 20 amp style receptacle on it. It's good to always have a variety of step-up and step-down crossover (dogbone) adapters. I also have a 50 to 30 amp for those (very few times), we had a 50 amp hook up only and my camper is 30.

The 50A to 30A adapter is also good for those times where you run into a 30A that has been used and abused. The 50A tend to see less use and are inherently more robust.
