Best selling truck campers (by volume) ?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a list which showed the best selling truck campers (by volume). Speculation/discussion is fine too, it doesn't need to be based on hard facts. I am just interested in knowing roughly which campers sell the most. Thank you 🙂

Northwood announced this summer they had produced their 15,000 truck camper (Wolf Creek and Arctic Fox). I don't know when they started manufacturing but compared to the large trailer manufactures that is not a large volume.

My understanding is Lance is #1 in volume by a significant amount followed by Northwood and then AMLRV.

Of course, volumes mean nothing if total manufactured isn't considered. After all, the most popular camper may be the more expensive ones (supply and demand) if they don't produce many.

For example, if manufacturer A produces 10,000 campers and sells 9000 vs manufacturer B who produces 1000 and sells 1000.....

The tiger 4x4 seems to be the best I have seen looks like a clam shell design like bigfoot and a truck, and a class C really like the tiger design

Rarely see Northwood/Arctic Fox TC's east of the Mississippi River but sure do see several Lance TC's every day on the road, in store parking lots etc, or in CG's. We look for TC's as we have always had a various brand TC's ourselves constantly since 1965. Do see some Cirrus and a few Palomino's maybe in a week's time. Very rare to see a Bigfoot, Eagle Cap, Adventurer, or Northern Lite in a weeks time on the road etc or in a CG either in the Midwest as TC's are quite popular here as we know.

I don’t think how many are for sale is necessarily a good measure. I see more Northwood than anything else. Maybe that’s because Northwood users use theirs. 😄

In any case, we aren’t talking giant numbers according to RVIA shipments , there were 589 shipped in 2017 and 919 in 2018 for all brands.

In comparison, there were 137,086 of all types shipped in 2018.

IMO, long-term resale value (of any item) is a more telling and interesting stat than sales/popularity.
