Cost to register a 1 Ton truck Texas & other

Anybody know the cost to register a 2 year old 1 ton pickup truck in Texas? How about other states? what are you paying?

Yep. $367+$50 for smog+$500 a year for insurance on my 05 F350 in Commifornia.
Not cheap to operate here. I sure do miss the lower cost of living in Texas.

Well it looks like Texas is a bargain for registration. No state income taxes is even better.

Florida registration for a 1 ton PU for 1 year is $114.10 and will decrease to what is was 3 years ago in September I believe. Considered by the state DMV as a commercial vehicle, even if not used as such the renewal runs Jan. 1 thru Dec. 31 each year rather than by month of registered owner's birth as is done with cars and motorcycles.

In Ca my buddies F450 was over $1,300 5 years ago.

My 06 2500 was mid 3's this year.

Most 1-tons these days fall in the 10,001 to 18,000 GVWR category and will pay $110 to register in Texas. It's $54 if the GVWR is 6,001 to 10,000 (most 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks).
