Curious what you are getting for MPG's in your 2500 Cummins?
mind you... I don't speed.... I've been in a few nasty accidents on the job.
Highway, hand calc'd... 22-24mpg. (empty) 65mph
12-14mpg (laden) 55-60mph
22-24, is that on a full tank, measured pencil and paper, or off the MFI in the dash? I am interested in a full tank empty, over several fillups, pencil and paper, miles logged per fill up.
Have to make a hard choice between a Cummins and a VM Ecodiesel.
RE: my P2 brake controller was a POS also, my Tekosha Prodigy RF is stellar, for adjustment capabilities.

If I could put GM telescoping mirrors on my RAM, and they worked like originals, I would. I hate the spot mirror(RAM) on the outside when there in the non towing position. I run mine in the towing position all the time to keep the spot mirror on the bottom.
X2 on that, Ram could take a lesson from Ford on how to build mirrors. How hard is it to make the mirror with the spot mirror at the bottom ,and just pull them out for towing like the ford. Have had both, and the Ford is hands down a better functioning mirror. Oh well, can't get a Cummins in a Ford. I will have to live with the mirrors.
I also agree. I hate the tow mirrors on my Ram and the integrated brake controller. Much rather have both that were in my previous F-250. But problem is they come with a Powerstroke. Never again
I like my integrated brake controller. Has setting for light or heavy trailers. Works as well as the Tekonsha P2 I had in previous trucks.
If you only like your integrated controller "as well" as your P-2 I am guessing you are not setup properly or your trailer has issues because I thought my P-2 was a POS!

What issues do you have with the Ram brake controller? I don't see much of difference in operation but did have to go into the DIC to set my preferences.
The brake sticks on for a second or two after releasing the pedal. Its been to the dealer and they say its a known issue but nothing that can be done. I even hooked up to my dads trailer to make sure it wasn't my trailer brakes that were the problem and his did the same.
