do folding trailers have a toilet or shower?

this might sound like a ridiculous question.
but do they ever have maybe one, or the other?
some kind of small shower where you sit? or a toilet area?
just thought.

i seen these old fashioned trains where they had a very small set up like this. the toilet was where the couch was or something.

anyway, thanks

If the folder is the right type, and big enough.

I've been seeing the cassette toilet plus shower bathroom units in pop-ups on 10 to 14 foot boxes, and larger A-frames. I've not seen them in folding tent trailers, nor in PUPs and A-frames 8 foot and smaller. Folding tent trailers often fill the whole box with the stuff that is going to fold out.

forest river rockwoods have about a gazillon models. some have showers and toilets and slide out dinettes and slide out sofas-amazing-compared to the dinky pop up i had 30 years ago they are amazing. i would go to forest rivers website and look at their pop ups page. other makers make some similiar models but forest river has a ton

it's hard to believe those little triangle shaped trailers could have a toilet and shower.
that's cool though.

Have a look at the high wall Fleetwoods. I believe the Starcraft and Rockwood also have high wall units as well. We recently traded in our Arcadia and moved to the dark side. All high wall units have a hard walled toilet and shower assy. You are not giving up very much storage space compared to a smaller unit because most hw pups are 14 feet in length.

Toilets and showers take up a lot of floor space, thus will have less available cabinet space. You should ask yourself if it's worth the trade off.

The answer to your question is yes and no. Some do and some don't. Your best bet is to spend time looking around to find what suits your needs.

My high wall PUP has a hard wall bathroom which makes it quite nice not having to deal with a privacy curtain. You still pull down a wrap-around shower curtain when using the shower but the interior is still large enough that the curtain isn't bumping and clinging to you every time you breathe.

Fleetwood made a big deal about it being a real ceramic flushing toilet like a residential toilet. I couldn't care less. I just wanted it to do the job.

The onboard black holding tank has a 6 gallon capacity. There is no onboard gray holding tank on my model but others do have them.
This space left intentionally.

My 2008 off-road POPUP has the cassette potty shower combo...

If I was adding anything like this I would only add the cassette potty section. We have only used our shower part maybe one time in five years. There is just something not right sitting on the potty to take a shower I guess...

I could save alot of room just having the cassette potty by itself.

The cassette potty is self-contained with its pull-out tote with wheels which is easily pulled to the bathhouse and poured down the toilet... There is no smell inside with our setup... The cassette potty is a 6 GAL system with built-in flush water

Yes. We just sold a 2001 Viking with a slide out that had a toilet and shower combo. Loved it, but moved up to a bigger trailer.

Yes, most all of the popup manufacturers make models with combination toilet / showers. We have a Starcraft Comet 1221 with it.

Only the largest models have (small) holding tanks. We have a cassette toilet that holds 5 gallons and no grey tank.
