Don't think any Challenger comes with IRS. I drove a '14 SRT w/6spd man when I went to pick up my Ram MegaDually CTD. No IRS but it broke traction in 1-4 gears 5th it squatted and stretched out, barely got into 6th before I had to shut her down.
The Hellcat is at $60k MSRP and that is with $1k gas guzzler tax.
The wife and I have agreed, the next new car SHALL be a Challenger. My first car at 15 yo was a '70 318/727 2bbl. It didn't stay that way;) I wish I still had it.
Rear suspension is a five link independent design with coil springs, gas charged monotube shocks, solid stabilizer bar, and isolated suspension cradle.

All Challengers produced from the 2000's onward are IRS equipped. The only modern muscle car that had a SRA was the Ford Mustang, which is gone in this newest upcoming generation. The challenger was originally based off of the LX platform which has continued to evolve over time. My first car (though I went to highschool in the 90's) was a 72 Plymouth Satellite Sebring+ coupe. With a 440 buried in there (had to put dents in the headers to clear the drive shaft). Surprised I'm still alive today.

How much does one horsepower cost? If youโre talking about the per-pony charge to get into the 707-hp 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, well, each unit of horsepower will require $86.27, tax not included. How do we know? Dodge has released pricing for the supercharged, hellacious Challenger SRT Hellcat, and itโll be the least-expensive 700-hp-plus ride available with an MSRP of $60,990.

You can't use the full performance of either car on the street without killing yourself, someone else or losing your license. Whichever comes first.

But who wants to ride down the drag strip, When they can drive on the twisties? I have driven my buddies SRT8 Challenger and it is no comparison to a real car :B
I really don't think the BMW M5 was the target vehicle when the SRT group developed the Challenger Hellcat. As far as I can tell, the Lamborghini Aventador and Bugatti Veyron were also not the target vehicles.
I'm glad your BMW M5 can outperform the Hellcat on twisting roads. But, the M5 is a totally different type of car. It is a real car, and the Challenger is also a real car. Try to be just a little bit positive here and enjoy the fact that you are able to own a vehicle of this caliber.
