Does your dually fit in the garage?

I am considering buying a dually and my garage has two doors (Center post). I've measured many times and it will barely fit but I don't want to have chest pains everytime I pull into the garage.
I live in south Texas (Padre Island) 8 blocks from the beach so I would hate to leave it outside (salt mine). Does anyone else have a similar situation?

Yes, 3 door garage had a car in one stall, the excursion in the middle and the dually on the end.

Due to the smell stopped parking the diesels in the garage. Tried putting tubes on the exhaust like the shops do but it still stinks up the garage and when you open the service door into the house the house smells.

That is one thing both my family and I love about our new truck; there is no exhaust smell at all even when starting it in the garage!

Wait... You can put vehicles in a garage? I thought it was just a room for storage of tools and random junk!

Not a chance. My garage was built in 1926 and a previous owner added a "nose" so that a normal size car could fit into it.

My QC LB fits fine with an air compressor in front of it and room to walk around it. A deep garage, no HOA and RVs allowed were prerequisites when we bought. Craig

Mine is not long enough for a F350 DRW. Barely got the 2011 F250 short bed in.

Mine just fits. A CC DRW with 8' box. It's 21.6 feet long and my garage is 24 feet deep. Hips go in with 3" on either side.

Yes but I had to go to a Megacab with the short box for it to fit; the crew cab long box was too long. I would have preferred the long box, but the truck being in the garage was more important to me. The Megacab dually is also quite rare and I definitely like that about it.

I believe the mega cab and crew cab are the same length over all. Just your back seat is a bunch bigger than mine :W At least they use to be.

No, there is about 11" difference between the two in the 4th generation trucks. Trust me I looked at the online specs and measured both about 10x each to be sure!

Remember the crew cab is much larger in the 4th generation trucks compared to the quad cab of the 3rd generation so the overall length is longer.

Not mine. Bummer 😞 The '06 I just got rid of "just fit", the '15 ..... it's about 6" longer than the "old" Laramie. I'm in desperate need of a garage stretcher!

The F350 fits. . .about 1 inch clearance on each side mirror and about 3 to 4 inches on the rear fenders.
The antenna drags on the top edge as it goes in.
Both my 2005 and 2015 dually fit the same way.
Close, but easy to put in.
Watch the mirrors when backing out, or pull one mirror in for a little extra safety margin.
