So what did you end up doing DJ? I just bought a camper in Middleton with the Atwood manual jacks and would like to upgrade.

DJ, is your camper prewired for electric jacks? If so I doubt for remote-my understanding is differnet wiring required (I noted R/T wiring 'kit' another $450+). Dont know what (if plausible) might be needed to adapt non remote wiring.
If it were prewired for elec jacks(non remote)Pretty sure I'd just buy non-remote jacks-you could sell the manual jacks (or reinstall if camper sold).
I never understood why the conversion kits were so high.

Your dealer is probably referring to the Rieco Titan conversion kit for Rieco and Atwood manual jacks.
Yeah but $1400+????
I didn't pay much more than that for my whole camper!!!
Plus I could still get what I paid for my camper out of it now if I sold it, but I sincerely doubt I'd be able to get $1400 more with the electric jacks.
Electric jacks would be sweet, but I can't bring myself to pay that kind of money.
