Escape has a referral program where you can see other owner's trailers in your area. When we were looking we looked at 2 different sizes (17 and 19) within a few miles of our house. Casita has the same thing going. It's definitely not as convenient as going to an RV dealership, but at least you won't get the high pressure sales pitch. According to the owner's map there are at least 3 21's in Tennessee.

Thank-you!!!! That is very useful info. How did you find that?

http://www.escapeforum.org/ . There is a link to the owner's map at the top. You have to call Escape Trailers to get the phone numbers for referrals, or you can join the forum and private message owners in your area.

Thanks for the replies fellas. Was thinking that the casita and scamp might be on the small side. We are comfortable in the size KZ we have but dont want to go any smaller.

I'm familiar with olivers but they are out of my price range.

What in y'alls opinion would be a quality TT?

Did you look at an Escape 19 or 21? Although they are expensive, you are paying in Canadian dollars so the exchange rate helps quite a bit right now. The 19' compares almost directly in size with what you have now, although with less floor space because I believe yours has a slideout.

Yup, i would like to see the 21' in person but you have to go to Canada,...., not gonna happen!

They are nice, and you will definitely see that in the sticker price!!

I bought mine used 3 years ago in excellent shape for $6500 from a friends dad (orig owner) and he still had all the paperwork including original invoice and build sheet.......$46,000 :E

I could never afford that new.

Thanks, i just went on their site and requested a brochure. Looks like a nice camper! Remind me a little of Northwoods Mfg.

I believe Northwoods and Outdoors RV have owners that are related as I have heard the owner/founder of Outdoors RV's last name is Nash......Anyway, I have a CreekSide 20fq and we are real happy with it. I think it has lots of great features for the money. I think it kind of boils down to what you are willing to part with to get something else. CreekSide comes with a freakin' 66 gallon water tank, LED's everywhere, shocks, now with dual pane windows, awning, a/c, nice cabinet doors, best of all a 2" welded aluminum frame with laminated walls. All nice fon-eatures but it's still made on an assembly line and like most any RV on an assembly line that's not an Airstream or Bigfoot it has some issues with fit and finish. Mine was $26,000.00 out the door and we had 300w of Solar included in that which really makes boon docking great. I have added a lot of "goodies" to make ours "our own" like drawers in big cabinets, a larger table, bbq mount on the trailer, tool box on the bumper, back up lights and other things to make it easier to go a month on the road. All in all we love our CreekSide and haven't see anything I'd rather have.

The 20FQ is the one im interested in. What is your tow vehicle? Also how do you find the u-shaped dinnette as far as being comfortable for sitting and watching tv those rainy days?

And I failed to answer your question. Who ever is sitting in the corner of the dinette closest to the entry door will be real comfy watching TV. The other person will be right up next to that person. I think you could watch a two hour move real easy.

OK, so I am a little over the top with my tow vehicle...I have GMC 2500HD with a Duramx. It sure pulls the trailer easy, almost like nothing. The U-Shaped dinette is bomb. We've actually never watched the TV since we've had it, but we play games, dine, drink coffee and such. The large window is really nice that comes with the U-Shaped Dinette. There is also blocking and wiring to mount the/a TV in the bedroom for comfy viewing from the queen bed.

It always comes down to floor plan, cost and tow vehicle.

We needed a bed you could exit from either side, a pantry, a closet, room for a big dog and a full bath.
We did not want a larger debt.
We own an F-150.

We ended up with a used 25ft. Dutchmen.
Twenty six foot 2010 Dutchmen Lite pulled with a 2011 EcoBoost F-150 4x4.

Just right for Grandpa, Grandma and the dog.

I was impressed with the Lance trailers when I looked at them at an RV show. Seemed to be good quality. Floor plans were great. Pricey though.
