front bunk trailers

Went ot a local RV show recently and found a new layout i was previously unaware of. The trailer had bunks in the front and the bedroom in the rear. This doesnt seem to be common, just curious who carries similar to this.

I was looking for the same thing and we just got a Jayco X254. It has quad bunks in front with a door that closes and a slide out king in the rear.

We have a Passport 32FB with the rear bedroom / front bunk. The reason we went this route is I am too tall for the front bedroom setups. My feet hang off a standard queen so and RV queen they hang off about 12"-15". With the rear slide I have about 2' of room between the cabinets and my feet (with the slide out). We also have our own external door and a real door on our bedroom, not a curtain, so we have privacy. The front bunk house has a sliding pocket door.

Jayco 26P rear king slide with front bunks. Jayco does not make the 26P any longer but they do make the x213 that has no side slide and is shorter.

Outback 301 is what I have always liked, especially the 2014/2015 Diamond Package. They kind of replaced the 301 with 324CG. Keystone also has a Passport Elite 32FB and this new Cougar 32FBS.

Others include Puma 30-FBSS, Jayco Jayflight 31QBDSm Coachman Catalina 303FQB, Primetime Lacrosse 336BHT, Shadow Cruiser 312FBS, and Heartland Trail Ruunner 31QBBH. The Lacrosse looks sweet. I have always liked that line, but I don't know any late model 3-row vehicles I'm willing to drive to tow one!

I believe Puma has a model with the front bunks as well.

We have a 32' Salem Cruise Lite with bunks in front and slide out for our bedroom in back.

This has been discontinued but there are still a few on dealer lots. The closest replacement I can find is the Cougar Lite 32FBS. Also check out the Jayco 32QBDS.

It's amazing to me how few floor plans there are that have a real size bedroom (usually meaning a slide) for mom and dad and a bunk area for kids. 95% of the floor plans you either get one or the other.

i should note that im looking for a bunk area that has its own door rather than a curtain. this allows the wife and i to go in and out of the camper as the kids are sleeping without distrubing them.

it seems like most if not all front bunks have a door, ive found some rear bunks that have a door too but they are 31ft+ trailers. was hioping to not have to go that large

Keystone Outback 210RS. Rear King bed slides out, bunks in front. Bottom bunk folds for added storage (you can put your bikes in).
