I have considered buying a generator for my 19 Foot Premier Bullet. I will be going to the national parks, so it needs to be quiet. Anyone have suggestions I have a 30 Amp supply. Looking at a Champion Digital Hybrid 3500.

I Just got one and used it for 3 days dry camping, its great and really like the remote start and stop. i would like to see a comparison with 2 Honda 2000 and 1 champion for noise level. and I like the yellow and black, it seams to be well built and the price is right. plus its got wheels.

We have a Champion 3100 inverter gen and love it, no electric start but that wasn't a priority for us. It's Quite, starts easy, it's good on fuel and runs our AC without issue.

Speaking from experience, if you opt for the Honda EU3000IS, rent one first and try it on your A/C, or just put the start kit in your A/C before you even try. It couldn't start my A/C until I did. Many others have had the same experience. It could save you some grief. Hey, if you're going to spend a couple of grand on the Honda, another $300 for a Microair Easy Start isn't a problem. Or you could buy a Champion. A little louder, not much, a lot cheaper, and it starts my 15k unkitted A/C without a hick-up.

I have a 10 year old Yamaha ef3000iseb. I highly recommend it. That being said, the convenience of electric start on the champion and the quietness make it hard to pass up. There is a kit to add remote start capability to my model of Yamaha but an almost $400 kit added to a $2000 generator is ridiculous, when champion has it available already on certain models at less than half the cost.

I have the honda eu3000is. It is 12 years old and still runs perfectly. I believe it is still the quietest by a considerable margin. Mine does not have a remote start and it would be a nice feature to have. I have heard good things about the champions and their inverters are quiet also but still not as quiet as the Honda. But the honda costs almost twice as much. All that being said quiet is a major factor. I have no regrets. The honda also has a 3 gallon gas tank for a very long run time. So if you want to save a considerable amount of money go champion. If you want to pay a considerable amount more for super quiet and big fuel tank go Honda JMHO.

My vote goes to the Champion 3400 as well. So nice to have remote electric start.

Nice unit for an open cage hybrid type generator and the reviews at Home Depot and other websites are very good which is typical of all Champion generators. Although quieter than most open cage generators, @ 64db it will still be pretty loud. For a for a few hundred dollars more, I would opt to get the Champion 3100 or slightly larger 3400 watt inverter generator. We have the 3100 and it is much quieter and just sips gas all the while it's running our 33' TT's AC unit.

We chose the remote start version since we are accustomed to our onboard Onan's one button simplicity. To run most RV AC units reliably a 3K watt unit is recommended, some opt to purchase two 2K watt units and only bring the second genny when they anticipate AC usage during their trips. Not a bad option if you desire to spend a couple of grand. Champion also makes 2K watt inverter generators that are very quiet and can be paralleled as needed which will set you back a little over a grand for both units and parallel kit.

Hello! I have two Honda 2000i generators that I link to get 30amps when I need it. otherwise I just run one of them when we're doing everything except running the AC. The Hondas are just about the quietest units on the market and I am very impressed with how they run.
