After looking at tt'sand 5th wheels for what seems forever we saw the gulfstream gulfbreeze at the tampa show this week. My question is overall is the quality from gulfstream better or worse then other brands. I know any company can and dose put out a lemon now and then and most of the parts are the same, I.e tvs ac appliances etc. ? Thank you

Just saw a Gulf Breeze Champagne 30 RKS at the RV show in the Alamodome this past Friday. I have not seen a recent Gulf Stream product before, but we have a new dealer in San Antonio that now carries them. I was so impressed by the quality that I went back two more times to check it over and under. Especially liked the dinette that can comfortably seat full-sized grownups. The carrying capacity is greatly improved, and fit and finish much superior to my current Rockwood. Makes me think...;)

Gulfstream has a number of TT lines at different price points, using different construction methods. For the same type of construction, and price point, I've not noticed that their workmanship is any worse than the competition (looking at Jayco, Forest River, Keystone).

Gulfbreeze is a laminated lightweight, competes with Rockwood, Flagstaff, Sprinter, Jayfeather. At this price in lightweight boxes assembled from laminated panels, do not expect the quality of a Lance. However, the great majority of TT buyers are satisfied with this level of qulaity, for a few years of occasional recreational use.

I would buy a Gulfstream before I would buy a low end Forest River or Fleetwood lightweight, particularly because I have two Gulfstream dealers that I trust. That dealership relationship can be more important than initial quality of the manufactured product.
My luck with GS was not as good as yours. I had a 96 GS Seahawk that was built very well. I bought a new GS Streamlite in 2003 and traded it after one trip for a Cherokee that I still own.

I ordered a park trailer in 2007 and had some issues. Most of them were fixed under warranty, though. The cabinets in ours are not any where as good as the cabinets in our Palomino Puma (a Forest River product). I would say our Innsbruck was a great value - we certainly got more than what we paid for in the long run.

I have a 5 year old 33 ft. Gulfstream Conquest TT with opposing slide outs that has been almost trouble free. A couple of problems with the coax in the walls but was easily repaired.Very easy to pull.

I had a Gulf Breeze Sport Travel Trailer. It was a great little camper after the first few New Camper issues which the dealer fixed.

This video says that they have a synthetic substrate instead of wood, which is better than having Luaun (wood) in your walls.

Gulfbreeze

Yet, they make no mention of this substrate on the information pages. I'd think that this would be a selling point that they would be proud of.
