I was just looking at 5er's, toy haulers, and slide in, sites and they have a sticky for their rig pics. We don't. I just saw that. Is it just me or do we TT guys and gals need a sticky for our rigs. I say yes we do.

I think it is a nice set up... I always hear that the longer the trailer, easier it is to tow/back up. I understand swaay issues but, if they realize they are towing and not racing, I see no problem. If you are scared, stay home. Nice rig!

Thanks! It really does tow well (over 2000 miles so far) and backing it into a site has been easy too. Here's a pic of her all set up:

Here's out "new" 1998 Fleetwood Terry. The picture was taken the day we picked it up from the previous owner. That's my wife Pat holding it up, lol.
We're pulling it with an '03 Ford Expedition Eddy Baur 5.4
Hooked up with a Fastway E2 equalizer
Stopping it with a Prodigy p2 controller.
We haven't owned a trailer for over 20 years, so we're basically starting all over. Looking forward to getting out and doing some camping.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE ON RV.NET
As soon as I figure out how post a picture you'll see the picture that was supposed to be where it says "moved or deleted"......

Here is our rig we plan on taking to Alaska 2014. 2008, 2500 Dodge Hemi 5.7 with our 27ft 1999 Holiday Rambler Alumascape. Our truck only has 37000 miles on it. It pulls great here in Michigan now to try it in Alaska. It does like gas

Those big SUVs do well with towing big heavy trailers

Weight isn't really the issue .. it's the length leading to sway that would concern me. We towed our current TT with an expy and no matter how much I adjusted, I always had sway. The OP has stated numerous times that the combo works for them. The people piling on need to move on already.

Nice words of encouragement! Is there any other way you could have expressed concern without sounding condescending?

Really nice rig you got there. Do you have any floor plans? Pics from the inside? How long is your TT? I thought I never would say this but this Expy looks like a Fiat 500 in front of your trailer, no offense man.

Well me and the Wife got our new to us TT a few weeks ago. We are not new to camping but this is our first one to own ourselves. Since becoming disabled and losing my Job we had to move back to Texas. Instead of throwing money away on an apartment we decided to go the TT route and semi full time for a year or two, at least health permitting. So we are excited and glad to have found this forum as it helped a lot in deciding what to buy. While we still have a few things to do to the trailer we are nearing our first trip. Hear our a few pictures.

It is refreshing to see somebody towing with plenty of truck. I get so tired of all the threads about 'can I get by with the tow vehicle I have'. You have more than enough truck and I know that adds to the enjoyment and safety of the tow. The trailer is not too shabby, either.
