How do you level?

I am self taught...my method may. It be the best, so I am curious how you all tell you rig is level?
I have seen the bubble indicators you attach to the sides..which I may get. In the meantime, how do YOU tell your level?

One function is a leveler tool that advises how much to raise/lower sides or front to back. Very handy.

I do a similar thing. I use the frame and adjust the trailer to get as level as possible front to rear and side to side. I also check at multiple places because these lightweight frames twist easily. Once leveled, I install levels at opposite corners so that I can see any twist. The cheap levels can be stuck on only after replacing the junk foam with VHB tape from 3M.

I wait and see which way the shower water flows. I can usually level it by eye.

I usually don't worry about the slide. On the class A I used to own you couldn't extend the slide until you leveled the MH. So I figured if it wasn't needed for the MH it wasn't that important on the TT. I may be wrong but that's my thinking.

I've only seen one mention of their slide. We're fairly new to this and learned we need to put the slide out first if it is a dirt/gravel space.

That's what I did. When we stop I look to see how it is and put 2x8 under low side tires and use tongue jack for front to back. Works for my 5er too.

i first look at my site or the spot where i'd like my trailer, look at the terrain for which side will be high or low...i back in where i'd like the rig set. I carry a 4 foot level with me and i place that on the floor in the trailer from side to side...over time, you can tell how much correction you need to make level. i also check at the a-frame right by the front wall as well as in the rear. once i figure what is needed, i pull my rig forward a few feet, get my levels out and stack them up. i have a slide out, so i keep that in mind and compensate for it. i've never been on a site that i've had to use more than probably 3 courses of levelers high. once i'm done my trailer is always inside the lines on the level usually about as level as can be.

Me too. Only way to properly install the stock on levels which always will give good level reasons provided they don't move after installation.

Most of the examples showed the duals using two. I think it was just an edit to show how quickly they can be slid on.

I use a Carpenter’s level on the floor for front to back and do not pay much attention to the side to side unless it is way off. I carry some 2x8s if needed.

A few days and we are off again, so it does not seem worth the effort to spend much time leveling.

I have been using this for about 3 years now. Once you calibrate it, you can get your side to side and front to back all from one point. Rotate the clear face plate, and it will show you what side needs to come up and indicate the inches of rise it needs. It's all you need.

X2 it is the greatest
