Went to the dark side for a year but we are back with a new TC. Bought a used 2009 5vr last September didn't use it much. Then this April bought a 2014 16' Smokercraft boat. Needless to say you can't legally tow behind the 5vr in this state it was time to go back to a TC. Getting the 2014 Arctic Fox set up to tow our boat now.

Wow 38'trailer you must feel like your in a mansion after all the years full timing in the tc.

Aye, that triple slide is definitely a treat, though she'd kill my poor pickup if I tried to pull it with her :p.

Got the misses moved in properly with me now ;).

805Gregg You wouldn't back up the boat behind the 5vr just get it to the lake unhook park the 5vr & be ready to launch the boat with the truck.

Reality-Check I don't have a host site for posting pics. of the boat I'm a little technophobic.

lol, and I'm lazy.

Love our Smoker.. hence the request.

I have the current list with restrictions. Oregon, Washington & Hawaii are the only 3 states on the west coast that doesn't allow it. On the eastern seaboard from Maine to Florida except Maryland it is not allowed. There are 32 states that allow it. Do some searching on the net & you can find the list.

Add CA to that list.

It may be against the rules in CA but I see it often. Those I know that do it say they have never been stopped.

The Smokercraft is a wide stable boat. Wished they had a closer dealer when I was boat shopping.
