Just had a brainstorm - how about a survey!

I just had a brainstorm when reading through the posts here.

So here's my question. We have two groups of folks on these forums: Those who exclusively blow out their water lines when winterizing and those who use the "pink stuff". For purposes of this survey, if you use a combination of blow and pink, you're still using the pink stuff.

Here's my curiosity: Is it because of the pink-stuff (taste, chemicals, or whatever) you do not drink from your own system?

So here's the survey question:

Do you "blow-out" or "pink-up" to winterize. And the second response, when you have de-winterized your system in the spring, do you drink or not drink from your camper?

If you do not drink from your own camper's water system, why?

Let's have fun folks, no jabbing each other, please?

I'll start:

Pink-up and drink. (I'm too old and too cheap to buy bottled water so I drink - but I did buy an in-line water filter this year too)

Blow only, no pink. Never drink under any circumstances. I have a small portable water treatment system for drinking.
I saw the nasties in my FW tank on my old TT. That cured me of any want to drink.

I disconnect the lines on the pump and blow it too.

Husband blows out the lines; does the anti-freeze thing; then in the Spring he turns water on, rinses out the lines and then we drink. Have never noticed an off taste. We only buy water in small bottles to take along for hiking. Our RV park in Colorado has excellent water.

Pink, sanitize and don't drink. Used to blow out the lines but each year I would have to purge the lines of this black stuff each spring. We drink bottled water and use it for coffee.

Just open low point drains with faucets/shower/toilet valves open......when we have done anything.

So I'm a no-blow, no-pink, drinking from the system kinda guy
Is it time for your medication or mine?
