We are seriously looking at buying a 31BHPR. It pretty much has everything we are looking for in a TT, the only cons we can think of with it is, it has curtains instead of solid doors for the bedroom and bunkhouse....that's about it.

Maybe because this one is so new, But i'm having a hard time finding any reviews or testimonials about them.

This is our first TT, i've rented a couple times and that makes us realize we want our own, we've been researching for months and have narrowed it down to this one.

Is there anyone out there that has any experience with the Bullet line that can give me their opinions?

Thanks!

In case any of you are like me and don't want the dealership anywhere near your unit, here is the repair involving the A/C wiring recall. Someone was kind enough to post it to one the groups I belong to on Facebook. It is literally a 5 minute fix. Save the image to your photos and you'll be able to zoom in to make the writing legible.

Yes, I received the recall notice in the mail the other day from Keystone on my 2014 Keystone Bullet 285RLS. It is on a wiring problem on the air conditioning unit that Keystone wired wrong on over 55,000 units from 2011 to 2017. The recall was Federally mandated by the NHTSA. You will get a recall notice from Keystone if you are an original owner and yours was part of the recall. You can go to any Keystone dealer. Took them only 15 minutes to rewire. The repair is done in the A/C vent in the ceiling. Make an appointment first since they are overrun with recall units. If you are not an original owner, call a Keystone dealer with your VIN # and they can check for you. No big deal.

I am planning to purchase new tires next spring (original ones from factory have lasted 5 seasons and trips out to Yellowstone and to Florida). Since I will be upgrading my tires and their load class, I am considering a suspension upgrade also, like shocks and/or one of the leaf equalizer upgrades I see discussed on this forum. But I don't understand really what type of upgrade, like the Mor Rude I can do with the Bullet/Premier suspension.

Has anyone done this type of upgrade? I'm looking for a smoother ride by doing this. My ProPride hitch does an awesome job eliminating sway and weight distribution but our roads up here in MN and WI are often rough and I would like to eliminate some of the trailer bounce we get with the stock suspension. We are doing a lot of long trips the next few years before we upgrade for retirement so I want to improve our ride more.

Congrats and good luck, glad you found the problem with the lights. I have not noticed an issue with ours but we do not use the lights very often.

Looking to upgrade from our old popup to a new camper very soon, love all the great reviews on the Bullet Premier! We looked at one and really liked it, debating between that and a 2017 Sporttrek 327VIK.

Well I'm happy to report that I found the root of the problem and it was an easy fix. I'm embarrassed I didn't check prior to posing my question. The culprit was a spade connector that had come loose from the switch.

Thank you, we are certainly looking forward to our shake down trip in just under three weeks. I appreciate the quick reply. I'm hoping the contact cleaner does the trick. I'll report back tomorrow evening once I've had a chance to give it a try.

Congrats on your purchase. I hope you enjoy it! My Premier hit 5 years old this summer, I have a 2011. I noticed my LED docking lights flicker a bit for the first last month. I assume it was a bit of corrosion and turned the switch on and off a few times and it was fine since. I am also going to spray some cleaner in there as well.

Hello everyone,

I'm a long time lurker and former hybrid owner. This past Thursday we pick up a 2012 Bullet Premier 31BHPR. A big thank you to all who have posted in this thread. Your tips and ideas have already helped me immensely and I still have a long list of things I want to do camper (I love modding!). Anyway, I have come across an issue and I wanted to see if anyone else has had the same problem. When the dealer performed the demo last week, we started at the front end and the two LED's on the front cap were on. The deal rep turned the switch off, no big deal. This weekend I was giving my folks a tour of the camper and when I flipped the switch they didn't come on. I left the switch on and when I came out to get started on cleaning/mods the next morning, the lights were on. I immediately turned the switch off and back on and to see if they would work and they would not come back on. I have a friend who owns a 2010 Keystone Bullet 281BH and he has the same problem but between the two of us haven't been able to pinpoint the issue. Tomorrow I plan to remove the switch and spray some electrical contact cleaner in it to see if it may just be some corrosion buildup on the contacts. In the meantime, have any of you experienced this? If so what did you do to fix the problem?

My 2015 Premier has the champagne colored roof, but the body also has a tan color. There are some white premier's out there, so not sure if those roofs are white.

Hey all, looking to pick up a 2016 Premier 22RBPR next weekend. Was wondering if any of you have looked up on the roof of yours. Is the TPO roof white or champagne? Thinking of buying some Eternabond to seal the seam from the fiberglass cap to the roof (is it worth it)and wondering what color the roof is.

Thanks,
