If the sign was in standard measure and not both standard and metric and if the renters were from Germany or someplace like that, its easy to see happening.

"How tall is this thing?"

"I don't know! Don't you know, you are driving?"

"I told you to remember"

"I'm not driving, you are driving. Let me find the rental agreement."

" Don't bother....It's ok, I think we will fit."

The 1st one is cool. The CG I spent my youthful summers at, had a guy that came in a lot on weekends with a WV BUG turned RV. Glad to see that unique minds, and skillful hands, still put a vision in motion.

Didn't I tell you not to store the pots in the upper bins? Now they all fell on the floor....

6.5 hours compared to 13 hours. That sounds like warranty rates, 1/2 or less paid for what the job really takes to perform.

I'm not commenting on the 13 hour part. I just noticed that your quote was exactly half and it brought back some memories of another profession I was in once.:)

I feel bad for those folks in the class C. Some learning experiences are harder and cost more than others.

13 hours? Water pump (timing belt driven) calls for 6.5 hours.

like I said,, I am an auto mechanic... took real good care of Her car... it is a very unreliable car..

timing belt at 90,000 miles is 13 shop hours.. $1,600 is common for this job...

my Ram only needed a set of front wheel bearing in 12 years...
original battery... original everything... even tires and brakes.

and WHO designs a wiring circuit.. of both headlights, power door locks and the alarm system all on a single 16 gauge wire.. Chrysler PT Cruiser... SMOKE is the answer...

you spend 3 hours under the dash of a PT Cruiser to fix that.... I DID.

my wife's 2002 PT.... from New.. now at 103,000 miles

very unreliable... suspension, electrical. starters, batteries... and the timing belt issues...
and can not keep tires on it.

garage kept all the time.. and the body is now rusting badly.

and I am a retired auto mechanic...

and 344,000 miles MUST BE AN ALL TIME HIGH for a PT...

I guess flat land and nice weather... and lots of LUCK.

PT Loser???? Holy cow. Got 344,000 miles on mine and still going strong. 🙂

Yeah - A penalty box in every sense and with Chrysler's abysmal reliability to boot. You must have gotten one of the few good ones.

PT Cruiser

Okay. I was also thinking maybe a Chevy HHR. They look similar to me, especially with a camper on the back.
Thanks.
