Have a Fantastic Trip! Visiting Mt. Rushmore makes you feel proud to be an American! That's what it did for me, I'm always telling friends to do the same.

Eric&Lisa, your pics are nice.

Thanks!

Is it strange that we take pictures of our campers because someday we anticipate posting them to rv.net?? :B

Yup, you can get a truck camper up there. Park on top of the garage obviously. ๐Ÿ™‚

Dick, your name says it all, Im not sure why you felt like you had to reply with a negative comment, Im not sure whats going on in your life, maybe your wife beats you or your viagra isnt working but you need to look at the upside and perhaps get some counseling.

Doesn't appear to be a negative comment to me. Just comment related to possibility of snow this time of year! Lighten up.

We were just through the area, saw Mt. Rushmore last Saturday (the 19th of April).

Some of the facilities and sites we drove past in the Black Hills were not open for the season yet. Rushmore was open of course, always seems to be no matter the season.

You should check out Castle Peak and/or Ditch Creek campgrounds in the Black Hills. We used to frequent both when we lived in SD. They're both primitive and secluded. Many times we were the only ones there.
