Hello Members of RV'ers
My name is George and I'm a first timer posting, I would like some advice as to buying my first TT. My TV is a 2014 2500 5.7 hemi with the 3.73 gears, my towing among is 11,100 and my payload is 2400 so what weight trailer should I be looking at? It just my wife and I with no kids or grand kid, I just retired from my job and the wife and I will like something comfortable for me to tow? Thank you for your reply and if I leave something out please let me know.

First thing you should do is check your payload numbers I think they might be just a tad bit exuberant. Its a ¾ ton truck so 2400 is just a little less than a ton and a half? But even with the wrong payload numbers you should be able to handle a very nice trailer indeed. That's lots of truck. Nice engine as well. I would guess at least 30ft but that's just a guess without the numbers.

2400 sounds right if it is a loaded Laramie. Ignore the 3/4-ton as that is from years long ago.
The biggest thing your going to want to do is go to a couple of RV dealers near you and find a floor plan you really like. Make a list of your "must have" items. From there people can really help narrow you down. Some people love a trailer with a rear seating area with a view, others love a good entertainment center with theatre type seating.
Go check some out, come back with a few floor plans you liked and I am sure we can point you in the right direction.
Yeah I just checked out those payload numbers he is correct. That's what I like about this forum I learn something new ever time I am on here.
