No **** shoot.

Just drive to the Shell station at 6201 N Fry Rd and Lake Stockton Fall Drive and stick the green nozzle in the tank and fill up for $2.33 a gallon. Simple really!!! :B

The Ram hits it's numbers all the time and it is just killing the poor little Ford Fan Club.

BTW Troy the weak little Ram tows just fine want some tow reports from guys towing larger Fiver's and TT's? Or would that make your butt hurt?

I'll pass don... I've read enough of your hatred and I've read enough about rods coming out of those eco diesels. :W

That is not the case any more in the part of Houston where I live. Most stations near me have diesel and 87 unleaded at exactly the same price. I really don't care, since I don't even like diesels, but I read the numbers every day as I drive by them.

Oups fishy caught telling tall tails again?

The 2 Shell stations were I buy gas/diesel has gas at $2.39 and diesel at $2.59.

You're in the wrong hood Troy! LOL Shop in the right hood and it's 10 cents difference.

Some places that sell bio diesel maybe a bit cheaper. It's a **** shoot on prices right now. But wait until everyone up north starts burning heating oil and diesel prices will go up while gas prices go down.

but prices vary all over the place. Recent trip to montana and diesel was about .30/gal less than regular almost everywhere in washington, idaho and montana, here in oregon driving down the street it varies from the same price to .30/gal less and often 0.60/gal less for b20.

First time in years that diesel has been consistently noticeably less than gas.

`This reversal on the price of gas verse diesel has admittedly caught me by surprise. I bought my '15 3500HD with a 6.0 for intermediate towing, I had a '12 2500HD and for the same purpose and came out very well. Diesel is .30 cents cheaper now than gas here. I have not seen that since the early 2000's I think. I am not coming out so well on my gas this time, except it was 8-9K cheaper then a comparable Duramax.

I took my wife to look at these little pickups a couple weeks ago. She is currently in a 2011 AWD Lacrosse and have been considering getting her into one of these. We didn't drive one, but on appearance and appointments a Denali version of the Canyon would be a nice addition.

Diesel has been more expensive that gas here for an awful long time too. However it's not anymore. I know winter heating oil will cause it to rise, but by how much? And what about the other 3 seasons going forward?

ksss I'm a betting man and I bet it will end up doing as well as the Ram ecodiesel. When the Ram went on sale it sold out in less than 3 days. Even taking some engines out of the Jeep lineup this year they continue to sell out in 3-5 days each month with a 6 week average lot time.

I would except the Colorado to do the same and GM knows this too. Oh BTW I just filled my truck this morning and paid $2.29 a gallon for diesel, regular gas was $2.49 with premium selling for $2.89! Yep OH48Lt that kinda kills your idea on fuel costs now doesn't it.

Be sure to ask don the cost of diesel vs gas this coming winter. I seriously don't think he won't act so foolish like he is now.

Btw.... Diesel is 0.20 more than gas were I live and diesel has been more than gas for at least the last 10 years.

Not sure why some people can't or won't understand that these smaller turbo diesels are way more efficient than Ford's Eco-Boost. Good for GM for understanding that! At 30 mpg highway in my Ecodiesel (when I drive 65 mph) not even the 2.7 EB can come close to it.

I didn't see where the Ecoboost was mentioned in this thread about the Chevy Colorado, but the Ecoboost is not the same class of engine as these smaller diesels. It's more a direct competitor to the traditional gas V8s, with considerably more power than the little diesels and considerably less fuel mileage. Having said that, I think a midsize pickup with decent towing capacity and mid 30s highway mpg is very appealing. Too bad Ram dropped the Dakota a few years back, the 3.0 Ecodiesel would have been a very sweet engine in that truck.
