New Creekside 23RKS

Just bought our new OutdoorsRV Creekside Travel trailer at DDRV. We saw them at the Pomona show and found the particular one we wanted at the dealership. It's getting some upgrades and we are picking it up in a few weeks. We are very northern CA natives ( like redwoods northern) but plan on staying at Bolsa Chica State Beach for a couple days to get acquainted with our trailer, since it's not too far from the dealership. Any suggestions about great places to camp on our way home in Eureka would be welcome. I'm pretty excited!

We got our Creekside 23RKS in Sept 2015 and have about 5000 miles on it with no problems so far. Since it is only me and my wife, we removed the sofa bed (literally 4 bolts to disassemble) and swapped in 2 recliners - much more comfortable! Have fun!

We bought the 23RKS because we have a Ram 1/2 ton pickup and we didn't want to overload our truck. Most of the other half ton towable see looked at seemed a little flimsy. We were looking at under 8000 lbs fully loaded.

I also love (not like) being over powered with my Duramax. Any hill, any speed, any time!

This is a nice little Creek Side thread. "Soon we will rule the world!"

Bought our Creekside 26RLS in May and took our first long trip with it last month, to the Dakotas. Towed and performed great. Currently at the dealership for some minor warranty fixes. Looking forward more such trips in the future.

We researched 5th wheels before deciding on this TT. Very glad to be overpowered with my Duramax rather than on the edge with a big 5th wheel. This 26 is actually nearly 32' long. Not sure how they figure their numbering.

We like to camp a little off the beaten track so we chose the Outdoors because they advertise they are dirt road ready. I hope it lives up to its claims. It just seemed a little more solidly built than some of the others we looked at. I'll let you all know how the first trip goes.

The only camping we've done in Northern California is Bodega Bay and we really had a great time. Not real sure I'd say it's on the way to Eureka though. Wright Beach just north of Bodega Bay is real nice too. Hope you like your CreekSide. We love ours.

Just received a packet from outdoors mfg. Very impressed with their trailers. We like the 22RB. I just wish the were a little closer to TN. so I could go look at them!
When we're ready to buy im going to have to take a ride out west to buy one.
Good luck with your new camper, please keep us post on your experience with it.
