Just purchased a new to me 2007 Dodge 3500 DRW SLT 6spd manual 4x4 with 165K on the clock. Really excited to tow with it will be a huge improvement over my 99 2500 V10 in MPG and towing. Here is the truck.http://www.ebay.com/itm/131028238604?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
Any you have this particular truck and what do you think?

I hope it's had good care and nothing is wrong with it. You're going to flip out if you've never towed with a late model diesel before! Craig

I will check that out forgot to ask the dealer about that. I will defiantly replace that cover AS I do not want dust or water getting in there. Not that we get much rain here in El Paso. The truck will be delivered this morning I was going to fly up and drive it back but it cost me a little less to ship it then fly up to DFW and drive back.

That TIPM trouble usually has to do with faults in added on electrical systems such as a a faulty 7 pin wiring, TC connection or changing OEM bulbs or devices.
I agree in that it's not perfect by any stretch :W and very expensive to replace. Just be careful what you plug into and make sure it's wired correctly to avoid a replacement TIPM.

Looks good! I would suggest getting a cover for the TIPM (power box under the hood). You really don't want water and dirt getting in there.

I would think with 160,000+ on the clock if that was going to be a problem it would have happened a long time ago don't you?

Depends on how long it has been missing. What makes you think it has been missing since day one?

We'll ST or SLT either way book is 24 for SLT and 23 for ST I got it for 19. My bank ran the VIN to get the value and said it was booking for 24. I am happy I don't want tab power locks and window and carpet better that way less******to break and floors are better with the dogs and mud and dirt clean up. I am happy.

That YOU are happy is the only thing that is really important.

I lived without electric door locks on my 2001.5 for 5 or 6 years, and finally fixed that for 50 bucks for an aftermarket kit. I included a starter cut out when locked with the key fob. Easy to wire to the clutch pedal switch circuit even on an auto like mine.

Very nice... My BIL bought a 07 RAM off the net and flew to Arizona from Texas to pick it up and drove it back.

Carl glad you got a good deal on your truck. Hope you didn't think I was arguing about what model it was. I could do without the carpet but I do like power windows, seats and locks.

Don

No did not think you were arguing. I have not had good luck with power windows and locks so for me I would rather do without them.
