The Lance 855 is great but it doesn't have the head room like on their older 820's,etc. So beware of that if your tall. I'm 6'2 and bump my head in them. Mostly when you moving about.

Great catch! I'm 6'3" and I found myself bumping my head in a few RV's, mostly anything that had "Lite" in it's name. I'm assuming they are narrower and shorter, so they are lite.

I like our Adventurer 80W. Fits our shortbox F-250 but also fits a longbox.

Four priorities for me - north/south queen bed, toilet, no slides, and floor space for two dogs to travel with us. I also wanted some counter space.

It isn't four season, but does well in winter.

Wolf Creek non-slide campers are all 4 season rated with heated holding tanks and storm windows or thermopane options. Excellent camper, but I'm biased as well.

I had a Bigfoot and it was a great camper. But there is lots of good non slide campers.

I think what you're reading in these replies is that there are a lot of good no-slide campers available new & used. If you go used, inspect for water damage carefully. But one's person's perfect floorplan doesn't work for somebody else. For instance, I thought I had found the perfect camper when I found the Wolf Creek 840 until my wife informed me that the single round kitchen sink bowl wasn't working for her. We looked at a used S&S that seemed well built and had some interesting designs that I've never seen before. To this day we ask ourselves, why don't other companies do this?

I'd look at S&S and Nothern Lite because I like their floor plans the best in no slides.

We love our Lance 1040. Unfortunately it's been discontinued. But if you can find one used take a look at it, you might like the way the dinette is layed out

If we didn't want the extra space of our Arctic Fox 811, the Northern Lite or AF865 would have been top choices for non-slide models.

Lance made the 845 with is a nice camper. We really like our 2005 model. They have changed numbers since the 845, but it works real well for the two of us.
