On the road with a Keurig Coffee Maker

I've already done the search and didn't learn much.

I'm taking a cross country trip with my tt and would love to take the Keurig from the house. Some say to dump all the water then refill it and flush. That's too much work. Can the Keurig be lashed down in an upright position with the tank less than full and bounce down the highway. I would like this unit for on the road when you want to get an early start and not mess with dumping and rinsing a pot let alone waiting on the pot to brew. I like a fast cup or two in the morning.

X2, Over 5 years now and 15,000 miles without a problem.

Do you have a 2000W inverter to power the Keurig?

In the motorhome it sits right on the counter top while we drive. Went from Buffalo, NY to Florida and back that way. Wife made coffee while I was driving.

We put our coffee maker in the empty sink while driving. Leave it full-ish, and your co-driver can make coffee when you want.

My wife and I just completed a 6,000 mile tour up the east coast then to mid America, down to Missouri and Texas and home to Florida. We were on interstates, US highways and state and county roads. We found the roads rougher than ever this year. We have a Keurig that we left at home. I don't think the Keurig would have survived our trip.

Leaving the Keurig on the counter all depends on what type of RV you have. I have a Jayco Eagle with a rear kitchen. NOTHING will stay on my counter even if driving 2 miles down the road. I've had sink stoppers come out of the kitchen sink drain and find them almost in the front bedroom.

I leave my Keurig on the counter, full of water or not, and it stays right there, and it's been on some rough rides. My counter is forward of my axles.
