Son in Law is looking at a package of a 2016 41' Solitude and the stated 2008 F350. I am not a Ford fan so cannot give a real objective opinion. And really don't know much about them. Thinking it is SRW. The Solitude is $60000 and the truck is $25000.
Would appreciate any input. More interested in Ford input.
Thank you.

The Solitude you will need around 3500 to 4000 pounds of payload just for the 5er. I had 34 foot Solitude 310GK and it had a 3200 pound pin. Solitude are nice 5er but heavy pins.

Nice truck for sure and really appealing with that V10, def needs to pay less for the truck. But overall the truck will serve him well for the right price.
A truck, a camper, a few toys, but most importantly a wonderful family.

Not EVEN CLOSE to that. Check Kelly Blue Book (KBB.COM)

That fancy paint job does not carry much value on a 9 year old used vehicle.

If it's a 6.8 V10 it's a good truck.

If it's a 6.4L it's a gamble. It has less problems than the 6.0 but more $$$ when things go bad.

The V10 Ford gas is a very good engine. Price sounds high for a gas engine though?

Have not looked at the truck yet but SIL said it was a 6.8 diesel. Might in fact be a 6.8 gasser. Possibility there.

An 08 Ford diesel will have the 6.4 in it. And that engine belongs in the expensive junk category. :B

A little video about the 6.4
