Our new Arctic Fox finally arrived!

We ordered our camper back around Thanksgiving and it finally arrived! Here is a picture as we took delivery at Truck Camper Warehouse last weekend.

Congrats... we have spent over a year in our 1150 AF and take it into the boonies all over the U.S. The 3500 Ram diesel dually has no problem with it. You will find it is an all weather unit and we have been it from 0 to 110 degrees and it is a great unit.

Thank you all for the good wishes. The folks on this forum were very helpful as we were deciding which TC to buy.

SLJohnson - we haven't taken it to the scales yet, but Truck Camper Magazine estimates that it is about 5150 lbs 'wet'. We hope to get to a scale soon and I will update this thread once we have actual weights.

Billyray- we ordered it for delivery in April because we would both be retired by the end of March. Not sure how long it would have taken if we had wanted immediate delivery. The visits to Truck Camper Warehouse (TCW) were timed around travel to our home in Maine since TCW is kind of on the way between Virginia and Maine.

The model is an 1150. We ordered it without the microwave for extra storage. We also put on 150 watt solar panel. So far we are really happy with it.

We have been traveling with it since we picked it up last Sunday, mostly camping in friends driveways. We are now in North Carolina and are hoping to get to Cape Hatteras before we head back north.

Excellent choice in combo. We have a 2010 AF 1140 and totally love it. We carry it on a DRW 2001 F350 Diesel crew cab so are very much like your setup. We put about 18,000 miles on the unit so far and have had NO problems. If you have any questions send them in private message. Happy trails.
