My 2001 served me well but......New truck!

2014 Cummins 3500 Laramie crew, LB, 4x4 Aisin, Nav, all the bells and whistles. Now for a new hitch......

Tease them?? Hardly, I go to work in the wee hours A.M....my neighbors all could tell you what time I went to work with my rattling 2001. The day I got home with 2014, two of them came to look at it and wanted to hug me it was so quiet.....:)

While I haven't towed yet, in the tow/haul mode and e brake on, it works good. My 2001 was a stick and BD brake, and when I used the e brake, the truck fell on it's face , so to speak. Dodge/Cummins got this new aisin trans and e brake combo well figured out.

A quick check of the major truck dealers in my are shows 8 trucks with the 850 torque Asian trans. There is not any issues getting a truck with the Asian 6 speed.

Just dumb luck:) Found it on the lot. Went to the dealer for parts for my 2001, wasn't really looking for a new truck (well, maybe a little)and got to chatting with the fleet guy who sold me my 2001 way back when. I admit it, I am a weak man....I should have left the building but I didn't. The rest is history....
