The problem with the 05 Ram we recently purchased is the entire top of the dashboard from the middle to the passenger side is entirely gone due to the dash cracking and falling apart. The 07 Ram is ok but has a carpet liner on the dash it's entire life.
I would have to say that CR reports appear more accurate to me than JD Powers per our experience.

It's so humorous watching these Dodge Ram bloviaters and BS'ers try to defend their vehicle purchases in the face of year after year published facts as to the poor reliability and long term quality of Fiat Chrysler trucks and vehicles. Here's just a one of the so many documented and truthful examples of how bad the actual experienced quality and reliability of FCA and Chrysler vehicles actually are. BTW, this is just one example only specifies 11 MILLION Chrysler FCA vehicles sold. These 11 million recalled and mandated buybacks are not for just simple issues!
That's all, just a tiny amount of 11 MILLION and Chrysler FCA vehicles sold poor selling FCA vehicles sales volume is just a small fraction of what Ford and GM had sold during the same time frame. Gigantic fine and mandated off the road and a buyback must be offered to the owners of over 500,000 Dodge FCA pickups alone! 500,000 pickups may be a lot but it's just a small part of the 11 million in just this one recall. The purchasers of a vehicle certainly ought to have some respect for the lives of the passengers and family they have in their vehicles even if they don't seem to have for their own!
OK, Dodge FCA pom pom boys, spin your utter BS like you do continuously!

Just one of the dozens of articles of very poor quality and very poor reliability along with very premature rust out experienced that they got caught with and FCA could not refute at all! Facts are Facts! Simply research it and learn! Think about the terrible resale value or trade in value you will be left with even after having spent huge dollars over the years to have even kept the FCA vehicle running as proven by the decades of the automotive repair industry documented reports. A double whammy on your wallet and do logical thinking buyers really feel that's OK or great?
Carry on boys!
