Can you get the 6.2L gasser in a HD truck? I think it's 1500 series only.... :h
6.2 is only top end 1500 series. The 2500 has the 6.0. Not sure what the difference is, but my father in law has a 2500 with the 6.0 and loves his.

If I couldn't have my N14 (the best Cummins ever built), I'd have to go with a V10

As usual the test was a fixed story. all brands seem to be best when it is internet story but this test was not too bad. Dash on the chev was not an 2014 dash and why not test the 6.2 engine not the 6 liter. fun to watch and not a bad report for any of them.

Now were getting close to what we lost when the Dodge V10/8.1 GM and Fords V10 was dumped from the pickup market. When the new gen 6.2/6.4 start putting out 450-475 ft lbs I can see one sitting on my wifes side of the garage.
I had mid/late '60s GM 1/2 and 3/4 ton with the coil springs. Lets hope the Rams coils ain't nothing like them as they were flat dangerous with a high COG truck camper in the bed. The coils couldn't control body roll even with a double shock set up.

Well that certainly is a contender for the dumbest post I have come across in quite some time. For trucks that are going to be used to tow the SAE J2807 tests are the only ones worth doing, worth reporting, and worth reading.
