I don't know what payload stickers have to do with mileage but here's my 2 cents...
Not a Ram but I just went from an ecoboost to a 6.2 F250. Empty it's about 4-5mpg worse. Towing it's about equal to 1mpg worse(have only towed double so far though).
I reset trip B when I left the dealer 1930 miles ago and it shows 11.8mpg. This is a true mixed average with 275 of that towing double with my 5th and small boat. There's also 600 of that towing a small boat and the rest is a mix of highway/interstate/gravel/town. Cold starts, idling and all. Computer is right on the few times I calculated manually.
For reference, the average with my ecoboost under similar conditions last summer was 14.5mpg.
I suspect you would see very similar numbers. The difference in empty mileage is dramatic but when you factor in everything else, it's not as bad.

Has anyone seen the comparison on the dodge 1500 HEMI (with MDS) vrs the ram 2500 HEMI?
I have a 1500 and looking at trading in for a 2500 for a little more towing capacity.
