Thinking about a RLS layout. We are a family of 4 & kids are 13 & 16. Often we have an friend of my son and very seldom we have 6 total. I see on some layouts the U shaped dinette can be converted into a king size bed & the couch is a hide a bed with air mattress.

Question is who as this layout and do you sometimes have similar sleeping needs? How aggregating is it converting to and from the sleeping to living?

Thanks!

Oh, Jayco claims the king size U table.

We are in the same boat as you, son 18 daughter 16. My kids are tall and anything bunkhouse would never work for us. We ended up with a Starcraft travel star 294resa. Huge rear living area with 12 foot opposing slides. King u-dinette on one side, hide a bed across from it. We love this trailer, it's one we will grow in to (when kids don't come as often) instead of growing out of, beautiful finishes, a shower a well over 6 foot man can fit in and a bedroom you can actually get dressed in,lovely fireplace to boot! Check it out. Unfortunately, it looks like they changed the floorplan for 2014, not sure if there are any more 2013's out there.

Yep, they did.

Keystone Bullet Premier has a rear lounge floorplan with a slide out bunk. It is similar to the Coachmen posted previously. I have the floorplan minus the bunk slide out.

It is the 33BLPR

Our kids were 14 & 16 when we bought ours. We opted for the RLS instead of bunks because we knew it wouldnt be long before they quit going with us. Jayco dont make our floorplan any longer, but we love it. It isnt that difficult to fold out the couch and lay down the dinette, but I didnt have to do it, they did if they wanted a bed to sleep on instead of the floor or ground.

That is kinda my thinking.

Had not thought about that. Good point.

We got a TT with bunk beds for our two kids (4 & 3). The bottom bunk is more of a twin size bed so 2 kids could sleep in it. This way we don't have to take down and make beds at night and put the table back up in the morning.
