I was buying on-demand pumps for $39 and for water saving have those tips that close the water unless you push a stick hanging from the tip.
Those can save you quite a bit of water and for me are more convenient than playing with handle or knob.

Likely there is no pressure switch on the system, so restricting water flow might end in overheating motor and consequences.

This is the faucet. It has a simple on/off switch for pump mode. Anyone experience the same deluge and successfully restricted it?
