Rooftop carrier

Any recommendations for a rooftop cargo carrier for the TC? I'm looking for a hard side. Big enough for a set of corn hole boards ( I've made a set of travel boards which are the standard 24" x 48" but are only 3" tall when folded. ) Thanks in advance, Dave.

I'm better at detaching them from the rack. Don't have much experience with attaching. 😛

ever consider one of these. It fits in the factory hitch and is out of the way under my camper. Excellent storage and is tucked nicely under the camper.

Here's additional information on the SportRack Aero 1300:

Dimensions: 75"(l) x 23.5"(w) x 16"(h)

PROS:
- Large capacity
- Doesn't leak
- Easy to install
- Easy to access and lock
- Inexpensive - if I recall, it was about 1/2 the price of the big names and I believe it is built by Thule. In fact, when I compared, all the components appeared to be identical.
- Two years old and still going strong (and that includes being subjected to our intense desert sun during it's entire life.)

CONS:
- Only opens from the right side. However, this has been a non-issue for us, because I only access it from the right anyway. I don't even need to get on the roof to load & unload it, because I can reach it from the ladder.
- Can't think of any other cons.

We've been using a SportRack storage box for two years and it has been serving us very well. It's spacious, easy to access and no leaks. I'll post more specifics soon.

OK - I know it's a typo, but I can't resist. "Most bras attach with hooks"

Sorry - but it was funny! Have a great Christmas 🙂

biggest recommendation I can make is to get a box that can open from either side. Mine only opens from the right which is kind of a PITA with the vents and skylights. Also get the lowest profile box which will hold your stuff for better overpass and tree branch clearance.

Corn Hole Game

The name gets it's name from throwing a small bag of corn through a hole in a board similar to Horse Shoes.
