Stabilizing when at Home

At home: At the back end of my driveway I have a concrete pad that is perfectly level and flat that I park my boat (on trailer) and my TT. It dawned on me recently that I put wheal chocks and unhitch the boat and I'm done. On the TT, I put wheal chocks and I also put down the stabilizing jacks on all four corners... Is this just useless effort??? We don't use the TT at home and take it out one weekend a month between vacays.

Might take a little weight off the tires , might help with flat spots on tires if you were gonna leave it there for a long, long time ?

Same here. I also park mine tight to a cinder block wall so I really can't get at the driver side stabilizers anyway. I load and unload in front of the house.

Mine sets on a gravel pad and I don't use chocks or stabilizers when at home.

At home it is level side to side and after I unhook I drop the front down to level front to back and then plug it in. That is it, never put the jacks down. Take out the laundry, load up new food and we are ready to go the next weekend.

Stab jacks are for the purpose of stopping the jiggle when people are moving around inside. If you aren't using the trailer, there is no reason to deploy the stab jacks.

I keep our trailer at home on the driveway during the season and do use it on a daily basis so I do level & chock it properly and do deploy the stabs ... for anyone like yourself who is merely storing the trailer I see no point in deploying the stabs.

I don't stab when parked at home. other than load/unload, I'm not in the trailer much when it's in the driveway.

Guess it depends how much one driveway camps.
