Any suggestions here? experience will play a big key in answering this. I am a single male of normal size. it will be just me. i would like something that has a separation in living and sleeping area. i do not plan on moving this trailer. Maybe once or twice as long as i own it.

BY your explanation, I would go with a 5th wheel 30-34 ft long.I spent 2yrs full timing in a 27 bumper pull and envyed my neighbors and their 5vr.It gives you more room and in cold weather it is easier to heat just the bedroom at night.

We plan to Snowbird at least in the trailer in my signature. About 36' long with 3 slides. Lots of storage but I'm sure my DW will fill it up.

Are you going to be towing this around the country or on a permanent site? What will your tow vehicle handle? Unless you have a ton of "stuff" or throw big parties, I would think less than 30 would be very adequate if you get the right layout.

From 16' Casita to 40'+ 5ers and MOHOs. Take YOUR pick. Life's needs, comfort, style of living and budget... all vary. Those factors indigenous to you may change with time from the camper you buy today to the one you purchase tomorrow, if in fact you continue to full time.

Granted, not for everyone but while here at the Watchman CG at Zion, I have met a couple that fulltime in a 16' Castia Travel Trailer.
I guess "size" all depends on what you need, not what you want.

I think you could ask 100 of us and we'd all answer differently. Honestly, it's something you'll have to learn for yourself. My '32 motorhome is just fine for me, but I would not want to share that space with another person. My slides are also very nice to have and makes it feel less like an RV and more like a home. Some people get by on 20', and I guess I could. But I think my motorhome is just about right for me. It gives me a separate bedroom and living/kitchen area, and that's a plus as well.
