the 3 most important charecteristics of your TT to you

For me here are my three so far while I am learning about

I want a slide for added room and comfort

I want one with a dinette and a couch with decent view of the television.

I want one with at least a queen bed for me and the wife and maybe even. Bunk system for my two boys.

Now I would love to hear from some of the veteran TRee's on what they like or looked for

Went from Pop Up to Hybrid to Current TT.

Top 3 when buying TT back in '05:
1. Dedicated beds for all 4 of us - we got bunkhouse with 2 beds in rear and Master up front.

2. Walk around master bed - had enough getting into bed in certain order.

3. Large grey tank(s) - we cook, use shower, etc. when we camp and camp with W&E at minimum, so wanted to limit the hauling of greywater.

Next TT will have:
1. Real Queen Bed, not 76" long RV Bed

2. Outdoor Kitchen

3. Roomier Bedroom - maybe slide?

Big bathroom with tall corner shower.

Big bedroom with walk around bed(no climbing over each other in order to get out of bed to go to the john in the middle of the night)

The mores slides the better along with at least a 15K A/C unit.

Did I mention BIG BATHROOM?

We came from a truck camper to the trailer.
1) full sized bath
2) Queen bed
3) excellent construction
4) able to pull with 3/4 truck

while we might have paid a little more for Arctic Fox, we felt it was worth it.

I'd say our top 3 items that prompted our purchase where:

1 - Kitchen with enough counter space / cabinets to comfortably cook a good meal. Wife was not happy with the idea of a flip up temporary counter or using a cover over the sink or stove to get prep space.

2 - A good sized "living area" with a good view of the tv from the couch.

3 - A walk around bed that is a residential length, not a shorter RV version.

Among the most important things we looked for was at least one slide for some space. And that the TT could still be used with the slide in. A comfy bed at each end as hubby snores worse than a buzz saw though his new C-pap helps with that. At least some counter space in the kitchen. Two doors in case of emergency. But after looking at loads of RVs we came to the conclusion the perfect RV doesn't exist.

This was our 1st TT. , we searched many shows and dealers , 2012 flagstaff FR 831RKSS
1) outside kitchen
2) bunks in the back , 3 of them
3) sleeps 9 , lots of storage , and windows

1. Queen size walk around bed that is always made up (we had a hybrid with canvas bunks before).
2. Bunkhouse with double bunks up and down, and with windows on side and rear of each bunk for lots of light.
3. Large galley slide and curbside dinette.
(tons of extra storage with a laundry chute and trash chute were all extra bonuses)

Down the road on our next TT we'll have to look at the super slides with the dinette and couch again--looks like galley slides and curbside dinettes are being phased out of most models and floor plans. We sure enjoy having our dinette on the curbside looking out on our own campsite but maybe the extra slide will make up for losing that.

4. Walk around (more like side step around) queen bed.

3. Plenty of overhead galley storage with 4 - 42" wide x 12" deep x 18" tall cabinets.

2. 28-1/2 ft long Northwood, purchased for only $13,800 new in 2007.

1. And most important selling feature for me was the 5-1/2 ft x 4 ft with plenty of seating area for the throne.
