Went to a small bluegrass festival near me last weekend to start Ramblin' 2017. Parked my rig and went to listen to the music. When I came back, 2 other Lances had parked on either side of me. Looks like a dealer lot. 🙂

It's funny all right!! I was at the Lance Factory this morning! It seems I got too close to a branch, and tore the lid off of the back ceiling vent....So, popped over, and got a new one from their store on the factory floor. My camper is not a lance, as it is a 1972, but they had the exact cover, and even showed me how to put it on. NICE FOLKS! I also got to drool over a new one just coming out of the work area, and going to a customer!

Their factory is only about 8 miles from ME!

We're on our 3rd Lance ourselves also since 1988. Started small at 8-1/2', then 9-1/2', then over 11' and it's not for sale! Both our older Lance's are still being used a lot as we sold them to local people here and we see the Lance's in many places around town many times each year and beside we know the people who own them.

I have a pic somewhere of 3 Lance's sitting next to each other in a parking lot in 2005 in Bar Harbor, Maine and all 6 of us from the lLances happened to be eating in the same restaurant at the same time. Didn't know each other before parking there but got to know each other before we left and exchanged adresses.

I'd figured out which one had the one with the Texas license plates by hearing their southern drawl when they were talking to each other and started talking to them. Then a couple minutes later, the 3 Lance couple overheard us talking and joined in. They were from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Strange how some things just happen! Michigan, Texas, and Pennsylvania all right next to each other just a couple feet but the maps show them a lots of miles apart! ha ha

Just sold my Lance last weekend. I cannot use it. Too high to get in my property up in Northern Michigan. Went with a PUP.

Cool! We're on our 3rd Lance now 1st was an 880 then a 014 1050S (new but lost in shop fire) luckily found a 014 1181. Our favorite so far, hopefully our last! We love this floor plan, why they discontinued it, I'll never know. Only concern is the huge slide with the Schwintek mechanism, but its been updated so hopefully it lasts awhile. Oh well, I don't care I'll repair it forever that's how much we love the 1181!

It is amazing how many older Lances there are out there. I sold my new 2014 Arctic Fox just to buy a 1998 945.
