Torklift tie downs alignment question

Hi, I just installed Torklift tie downs to my truck I used to have Happijacks but I sold the truck with all of the Happijack stuff included. I miss the front alignment bar with the centering guides that was on the front lower portion of the bed. Any body out there use an alignment system with the Torklifts or do the turnbuckles prevent the TC from shifting side to side Thank You, Lou

This is exactly what I planned on doing.

Putting 10-ply tires on half ton trucks since aught-four.

I my first truck used a thin DeeZee mat and this truck uses thick horse stall mats. Neither setup moved left to right using the FastGun turnbuckles even on crowned washboard roads, but you will need to make sure the front is blocked against the bulkhead of the bed or the TC will slowly creep forward if you have to make numerous quick stops (get stuck in traffic).

kind of depends what you have in the bed. I have a horse stall mat ( no bedliner) and with that and the Torklift fast guns I haven't seen any shifting of the TC.

With a rubber bed mat, I've only had mine shift about 1/2" from side to side and that is over time. I've never felt it or seen it slide in one swoop. Figure the movement is from jostling over the rough and sometimes non-existant roads.
