Towing mirrors

Looking for a good source for slide on CIPA towing mirrors mirrors. Trying to avoid the expense of permanent mounts. The strap on mirror shakes too much. The CIPA seems to be a good alternative but not much available for a 2015 F150XLT.

My CIPA slip on mirrors vibrated like crazy. In honesty, I know it was actually the mirrors vibrating, but it was seriously exaggerated by the the CIPAs. On my new truck, I added those dreaded strap on mirrors. They work perfectly. No vibration at all. Fit System is the brand name of the ones I'm happily using now.

We purchased our towing mirrors: "CIPA 10900 Chevrolet/GMC Custom Pair Towing Mirrors" from Amazon and they made it through the first season great and no vibration noticed.

i bought ProEFX flip up towing mirrors and love them - but I have a Tacoma - and the CIPA slip on's weren't available. our local RV store in NH has the CIPA mirrors for the standard Ford and Chevy models. Walmart, JC Whitney, and eBay all have them as well online.

Look at k source mirrors. They snap on and look just like factory mirrors. They are what I use and I love them.

Another vote for the Aero mirrors. I got the Aero 2 rather than the Grand Aero because I had a Nissan Frontier at the time. New truck fever hit and I now have a Nissan Titan....good news is that this type mirror fits any vehicle. CIPA mirrors are model specific. The Aero 2 works great by the way!!

We use McKesh and love them. No movement and easy to put on and off.

If you already have a set of strap on mirrors may I suggest you try them again. This time cross the straps and put them on as tight as you can. This works well for us. Best of luck

Grand Aero Towing Mirrors

I suggest the Grand Aero mirrors. I know they are pricey, but they work so well. I tried quite a few others and none gave me as good a view as the Grand Aero mirrors. They are also available at Amazon and other retailers.

Take a look at McKesh Mirrors

The stock mirrors vibrated more than these when we were towing with a PU.

I got mine on Amazon. I don't know if they have them for your truck or not.
