We took our annual trip up to the Eastern Sierra a couple of weeks ago and this year we timed it pretty well. We spent a night in the Alabama Hills west of Lone Pine, a night below the trailhead to Parker Lake west of Mono Lake, and a night in the Buttermilk area west of Bishop. We also drove up Tioga Pass to Yosemite and made our way around the June Lake Loop. Hope you like the pictures.
Here is the campsite in the Alabama Hills. That is Mt. Whitney (14,505') on the right side on the horizon.

Anyone ever seen a 4X4 Corvette before? There was a car show in Bishop and I think this guy was heading there.
