A Liberty County resident, Mr. James Brown , age 75 years old who lives in the CR 2279 area of South Liberty County had a rude awakening around 2:30am this morning when he awoke to someone hooking onto and pulling his 16’ camper trailer out of his driveway while he was still inside. Mr. Brown attempted to turn the inside trailer lights on but the suspect(s) had already disconnected the power to the trailer and were pulling out of the drive way. The owner immediately got on his cell phone and called “911” advising the Sheriff’s dispatcher of his dilemma and the direction of travel of a pick-up truck that was towing him and his trailer south on Hwy. 321 towards the City of Dayton at a high rate of speed.SOURCE :E
While Mr. Brown and his trailer were being towed, he opened the trailer door and began firing several gun shots at the pick-up truck which then began weaving back and forth across the highway, apparently, in an attempt to throw Mr. Brown from his trailer.

And shooting for what reason? to hit the driver? Lets say that he did - now what is the plan? Get on top of the TT and jump into the TV and take control???
I believe the TT owners nickname is James Blond...so yes, everything you mention is completely feasible.
:B Thanks for the great laugh I got out your post though 🙂

He was swerving trying to throw him out of the trailer to kill him. I would have unloaded the gun at the guy. I am sure who is posting he shouldn't have been shooting would have different thoughts if the kids or grandkids came over and wanted to stay in the camper for the night and woke up to this and the kids in the trailer at who knows what speed and conditions.

Bingo. I'm pro-gun, and I think the guy was a complete moron for shooting at the driver who is pulling the trailer he is in while at any rate of speed. I would have had no problem if he waited for the driver to stop, open the trailer door, then he shot him. Shooting the driver of the vehicle you are in or being towed in while driving is completely idiotic.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm not anti-gun but, shooting at a moving vehicle while in a moving vehicle sounds dumb to me. You don't know where those bullets are going to land. Around here both men would be in a world of trouble. Thank God nobody got hurt.

Not sure what you think you can hit leaning out of a door being pulled down the road. His best bet would have been to stay put on keep in contact with the 911 operator.
I tell you what's unbelievable: calling the owner of the trailer the idiot in the situation! But then he who made the comment is from Michigan. So I guess I'm not that surprised.
