Triple Slide Host on SRW

Saw this truck/camper camping this week and was wondering how heavy the camper was.
Don't recognize the model but it had 3 slides.
Truck was SRW with Vision wheels and looked like he had a Geo Tracker toad too.
Alarms were going off in my head.

Could it be the host short bed camper Rainer triple slide. In my opinion it does not have a 4 foot overhang but it also doesn't look like a short bed. The photo could be better.

I say looks like a sweet setup, 100%. Only the folks who don't have a clue about vehicles and the few that like to pile on who do know better (won't mention any names, lol) would say that is an unsafe setup with the information at hand (1 nice picture of a truck and camper that has the most obvious mod for heavy hauling handled).

Comments like " that would be more stable for body roll on a dually" or "wonder if he's carrying it on bags or springs" are totally appropriate. Much more than that is, well, Ahhh nevermind....

Don't really matter to me if he's overloaded or not. I just don't want him behind me in a panic stop situation, or maybe I do. He's obviously financially secure (or has serious payment books) so if he pasted me in the rear, I'd be getting a good mouthpiece and taking him to the cleaners.

PI and property damage through negligence can be costly for the at fault party.

Probably one of those persons who drives 70+ on the e-way too. I see them all the time, in a hurry to get nowhere, toting their RV's at breakneck speeds. Easy to drive at warp speed, a bit harder to stop the behemoth.

Nice unit. Belongs on a dually or a 450.

that's for dual wheel drive.

SRW is 4000, max. If it is a diesel or a non-regular cab it is likely to be 3000 max.

That monstrosity of a camper is at least 4000 dry.

Looks like a Mammoth. Ours is about 6k wet. Maybe more at times.

Alarms go off al the time when we travel and I see 40+ foot 3 axle toy haulers going down the road with 3/4 ton trucks. Well maybe not alarms, just wondering what it must be like behind the wheel.

It all depends on how much else he was carrying. Vision wheels and tires can make his rear axle be the limiting factor since they can easily carry 4500 each. Flat towing a toad adds almost zero payload. Finally, we have no idea how it was optioned, so no way to guess an accurate weight. Since he has Vision 19.5s, my bet he knows the math.

It could be a 9.5 Rainier triple slide. I put a reasonable dry weight at 4200. Sure, it won't stop as fast as my F450 not that most DRWs can, but as fast or faster than most DRWs carrying 11.5 TCs. Because it is newer technology and a Ford.

When I had my SRW, I simply watched how much we carried. Way under the axle weight and under the tire limit with 19.5s.

been there did that last year but it wasn't overloaded, was a chunk of metal in the road I hit E-way off ramp to an adjoining E-way, 70 plus per, 2 feet from my sweating body changing a tire and the skeeters coming out of the ditch drawing blood the whole time. Drivers side steer. Was fun, not. Didn't jack the truck up much because the berm camber was pretty inclined toward that skeeter filled ditch.....:E

So that's either a Mammoth or an Everest. 11.5' and 5.5k- 6k wet. Glad i'm off the road for a while.
