Truck camper mileage

I know these things aren't exactly fuel efficient or bought for that purpose but what sort of mileage are you guys getting with the camper on and is your rig gas or diesel?

12-13 with 2019 Duramax and 3500 lbs. of camper

Always 10 miles per gallon with the truck camper. 5.9 L Cummings turbodiesel. Doesn’t matter what elevation, what speed I drive, nothing. Always 10 miles per gallon.

Somewhere around 15 without the truck camper on.

With a suburban, 1993 I got 9-10 pulling the camper. Without camper it was about 16-17.

5.4 liter gas. 11 empty, 7-9 loaded depending upon speed and elevation. At 4500 feet altitude crawling along forest roads, 6 mpg but all worth it.

Old Gasser....10 with the TC, 14 empty, and I can make it get 4!

I think you need to ask speed, wind, and elevation, and elevation changes.

I can easily get 12 easily at 60 on flat ground at sea level in my diesel.
