Thanks for the update. Waiting for the pictures in Feb. when you pick up your new Chalet TS116FB. Good information on your bed mat.

Happy to hear that;) IT also seems like an important safety feature. Today I received my torklift tie down

And on the instructions you can reed ``Minor movement (or settling) can occur in some incidental harsh driving conditions (on or of road). A rubber bed mat is not a requirement to maintain the lifetime warranty on torklift tie down systeme, but a strong recommendation, simply as a safety precaution to protect the truck bed, the bottom of the camper and to give the camper additional support.

My bed matt looks exactly like that - bought it in '93 for a new F250 and is in its 4th truck so far, now an '11 GMC Denali dually! Trucks come and go but that bed matt stays with me...

I watched your Chalet RV video. It sure would be nice if those owners meant what they said about striving for the best quality and customer service. Atleast they are RV people and know what an RV is suppose to do. That in itself is refreshing.

I had trouble with that picture too. I believe it is a split level floor.

Fastbrit, I am a little off topic here but I have a question on the first picture in your lead off post. I am looking at the wood structure just to the down side of that picture. It looks like it is on a table. Yet the top side of that same picture looks like it is on the floor. Are my eyes going that bad or can you help me with how that bed mat is pictured in that photo? Perhaps it is a second level of flooring that I just cant see.

And as far as the topic goes, I think that Matt will do you a very good job at holding firm on your
future investment.

Thanks,
Dan

Looks like the one I have, except mine is square, not cutout for the wheel wells. I'm happy, my camper didn't shift at all in 3K miles up the alcan.

Congrats on the camper! Can't wait to see pics!

I use it on top of my LineX spray in to keep it pretty. Had the same brand of mat on my previous truck for over 20 years. Took a lot of abuse in stride....good product.
