IF pushing the reset buttons worked for both electric and propane one has to ask "WHY did they trip?"
Those reset buttons are for the High Temp T-stats. They only need reset when they have OPENED on high temp (170*F)
That occurs when the normal t-stat doesn't open (130*F) and stop the heating cycle.
High temp trip/reset usually means normal t-stat has failed.
Both electric & propane needing reset :H
