Weber Go Anywhere grill - what do you use for a bag?

I've had a Weber Go Anywhere grill for a while now and love it for our truck camper. It's small and square and fits nicely under the dinnette table. I was just wondering what everyone is using for storage bag. Our Weber Q has a great custom fit canvas bag made by Weber but I haven't been able to find one for the GA. I'd like a square canvas zippered duffle if possible because it's easy to just grab the handle that came with the GA. Thanks for any info. Dave.

We use an Eco Que charcoal grill. It only requires 9 pieces charcoal for a meal, folks down to 1" thick by 12"square, foil liners, very little mess and can be used in burn ban areas. We bought our first one years ago when another company was producing them, Pyromid. They went or if business then the new company picked up patents and produces them now. You can get larger ones, all kinds of add ons, etc. Not super cheap but stainless steel and last for years. We have 2. Toy can actually burn just about anything even a sterno can. But we just stick with match light charcoal. Extra stuff I cook on stove in camper if needed. Makes GREAT Chuck eye Delmontico steaks, burgers and franks. Plus you can bake in it with extra attachment. Works for us old farts. It has folding legs so safe to place on any surface and cools down pretty quick for packing away in its little bag.

Bag I use this one. Fits perfect with the cleaning and cooking gear. Keeps the smell down because I use wood chips. It is at Academy Sports for $9.99.Clicky

I think most of us probably use propane. I do. I find it convenient to use disposable bottles since I use so little of it.

I put mine in the cabinet where the microwave used to be. No bag, no nothing. It doesn't drip or make a mess at all. And I can put 3-4 propane bottles in there too. A very nice grill!

I have & love the same grill. We store ours in a seed/feed type bag in the back seat of our truck. Works great and never have grease get on anything.

I love my weber and pack it in a GM issued Corvette ragtop bag that was used for something with the top. I can store the BBQ, the weber chimney starter, news paper and a small bag of charcoal in it. Heavy duty zipper works good. I'm not sure where I got the bag from. Some other camper! Store it on the seat in back of the drivers seat wrapped in an old sheet.

2nd little rectangle weber as I accidently ran over the first one escaping a Bee swarm at Anza Borrego one time. What an adventure that was!:M After the bees were gone I bent that weber back into place with vise grips, pliers, hammer and what ever else I had because I had to cook the T bones that night. I still remember how good they were and what a memory that was!

You will find something!

Do you use the gas or charcoal version? Googled this grill and it has high ratings.

I use the box it came in,, I just cut slots in the top for the handle to stick out,, we have a gas version and the box can hold two maybe three small propane cylinders.
I really like the go anywhere it's perfect for the wife and I!!
Just another note, you can get a stainless steel diffuser plate on ebay,, the original seems to rust out quickly!

If you really want one, contact a canvas shop and have one made. I use a very old canvas mail bag my father in law had. Fits nice and has draw string on the end. Keeps everything clean around it. Travels in back seat or floor of camper most times.

Ours goes into a shallow (2" sides) cardboard form-fitting box that fits perfectly on the floor behind the driver's seat. It has no where to go. We use it a lot and have had no dripping grease: a lot of carbon deposits-yes. That's why the box. A very few black crumbs inevitably rattle down to the cardboard on rough roads. It gets the once over after a few uses, mostly to clean the grill itself.
As far as storing anything on the floor of the TC, I am very covetous of our precious little floor space and only store something there as a last resort. Whatever you store there is always in the way. Always. At least on an 8' 6" Smalllance.

I don't use a case. I store it in the same compartment with my leveling blocks. My doesn't drip. It has a diffusing plate that catches the drips, so far. The outside has got dirt on it at times from putting it on the ground to cook at times, but otherwise, it's stayed completely clean. I wipe off the dirt with a damp paper towel.

I don't have an answer to your specific question but can just throw in that when I am looking for a good, HD bag, I go to the Army/Navy surplus store and find lots of unique shaped canvas bags.
