I logged on today via Woodall's. That's because every time I try to log on via rv.net I get the following message:

"Our site is temporarily unavailable while we are making some necessary updates. We expect the updated website will be back online within the hour.

We are sorry for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience."

This has been going on for several days. What's going on here?

I can get in, but the site takes a long time to load. Sometimes my browser times out and I have to send again.

Woodall's is the only way I can get in.
Trailerlife forum and RV.net just show as site not available.
I've cleaned up everything on my computer and it hasn't made a bit of difference.

I never clean my cache. Just put it in the envelope and drop it in the box. If the campground host thinks it's dirty they can clean it before they pass it on. But if you ARE gonna launder money, don't hang it outside; it goes against the campground rules.

Seriously, I had the same problem for two days. Did an internet search for "what the heck?" and found nothing. Selected an rv.net hit and voila, no problem. Changed my favorites to a new accessible page.

I think it was an update (mine or theirs) that glitched. All good.

Folks keep talking about cleaning the cache -- is that like money laundering??

I think this problem with the website is more serious for folks with TCs or small trailers. Why, you ask? Because we have less storage.

Now I am confused. I thought we were discussing computer problems.

More like a month or better, random but usually doesn't last long. I log on directly to the TC forum and get a 404 error- backtrack to the root and get the same maintenance message. So I know its the site/host actually doing something.
Not your browser, but clearing your cache is a good thing. Sometimes if a page doesn't load, depending on setup, when you revisit page, even though page is up, browser opens cached page.
But as noted, without knowing camper make, just a guess.

Sorry. I cleared my cache, and that fixed it. Never mind. :S

I always say, do the simple & cheap things first whenever trying to fix something...
It often solves the problem. 🙂
